Friends, Sapta - Konkan is a rugged section of the western coastline of India from Gujarat Border to Kerala as described in the Skanda Purana. The sapta-Konkan as depicted in Skanda-purana stretches from Gujarat to Kerala. This is actually logical since there are a lot of similarities in the food-habits (rice and fish), crops cultivated (rice, mangoes, cashews and jackfruit) and the physique (tall

and well-built) of people dwelling in this area.
• Anyone with an interest in Konkani Culture, regardless of ethnic background can join us.
• Our Aim is to conserve Konkani Culture, Konkani Language and its dialects and other languages which are close to Konkani.
• We also want to improve Tourism in this region for the development of Konkani people.
• This Page will talk about all the important issues of Konkan.
• We aims to foster a greater understanding of Konkani tradition, heritage, and culture by educating ourselves and others while striving to unify our diverse, progressive community.
• No place for political promotion and extremist. I request all of you to like and follow this page. Even though we speak different languages and dialects but at the end we all are Konkani’s. I request all Konkani people and all others who love Kankan and Konkani culture across the globe come together for the progress of this region.
