Maenama Wildlife Sanctuary, is a wildlife reserve in the South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim covering an area of around 35 square kilometres (14 sq mi). The literal meaning of maenam-la is "treasure-house of medicines", and the flora of the sanctuary is rich in a number of plants of medicinal value. Established in 1987, Maenam wildlife sanctuary lies 65 kilometres (40 mi) south of the state capital Gangtok and is a popular tourist destination.

Lha-rinyingphu or the old cave on Gods hill is the holiest cave. Located in West Sikkim at Labdang, it can be reached only after a difficult 4 day trek from Yuksom. It is the most important sacred place for Buddhism and other Local communities as well. People say the person who knows the sacredness of Lhari-rinyingphu won’t pass away without visiting this cavé.

Baba Mandir is a distinguished sightseeing place of Sikkim. This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. He died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim, India. Two shrines have been built to show reverence to Baba Harbhajan Singh. The old one has been built at the site of the bunker, where Baba Harbhajan was posted during his tenure in the Indian Army. The new one has been built at close proximity from Changu Lake.

Located on the bank of the Rangit River, Kirateshwar Mahadev Temple is a must visit religious sight for every tourist on their tour to Legship, West Sikkim. The temple is located at some distance from Pelling and is connected with Geyzing and Pemayangtse. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has lots of tales connected to the Hindu epic, Mahabharata. According to legends, this is the place where Lord Shiva appeared in front of Arjuna in the disguise of a hunter and blessed him to attain success in the war of Mahabharata.
Currently, there is a guest house within the premises of the temple, and it can accommodate more than 500 people. The temple is at its liveliest during the months of November and December as the famous festival Bala Chaturdesi is celebrated during this time.

The Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary or Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary is situated in Western Sikkim in Singalila Range forming a natural border with Nepal in The West. The sanctuary also borders the State West Bengal from Sikkim in the south by Rambong Khola stream. The entire sanctuary is spread over 104 km2, across the Singalila Range. The Varsey Sanctuary can be reached from three points, Hilley, Dentam and Soreng. The most popular entry is Hilley since it is approachable by road and Varsey is only 4 km trek from this point through the beautiful undulated path shaded by different species of rhododendron. The rhododendrons bloom only during months of March and April.

Gurudongmar Lake, also known as Gurudogmar Lake, is one of the highest lakes in the world, located at an altitude of 17,800 ft (5,430 m) in the Indian state of Sikkim. It is a lake which is considered sacred by both Buddhists and Sikhs. The lake is named after Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, founder of Tibetan Buddhism who visited the lake in the 8th century.

The lake is not only blessed by Guru Padmasambava but also by Guru Nanak, the spiritual leader of Sikhism while he had passed through this area, and hence regarded as sacred.
