Timundiya Mela (2022) -Narsingh Devta Temple Joshimath

ज्योतिर्मठ (जोशीमठ) के मठांगण में जगतजननी नव दुर्गा के उग्र वीर तिमुण्डिया का विश्व प्रसिद्ध मेला प्रत्येक वर्ष बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट खुलने के ठीक एक हफ्ते पूर्व आयोजित होता है, जिसमें सुखद और सुगम चारधाम यात्रा की कामना की जाती है। सभी श्रद्धालु भक्तगण अधिक से अधिक संख्या में आकर दैवीय शक्ति की अनुभूति कर आशीर्वाद ग्रहण करते हैं।

📍 MALARI INDO TIBETAN BORDER VILLAGE

Malari is a small village located in Dhauli Ganga valley of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve at a height of 3084 meters.

This beautiful old Himalayan village is 61km from Joshimath and close to the 'Indo- Tibetan Border' in 'Chamoli district Uttarakhand. The uniqueness of the malaria village is its Architecture and community.

The inhabitant of Malari village moves to the lower part of the Himalayas during winters due to heavy snowfall in winters because it becomes inaccessible during snowfall months. And they move back again in April.

Cultural heritage festival RAMMAN

Ramman traditional festival is a religious ritual observed in Saloor-dungra village, situated near Joshimath. Based on village records this fair has been celebrated continuously for centuries in April

18 masks are worshipped & used during the entire performance (mask dance) of Ramman.The uniqueness of Ramman lies in the fact of the entire 'Ramkatha' presented in the dance form in 18beat.
