Day 1: Rishikesh to Devprayag
• After morning tea, Breakfast, at Kaudiyala, see the famous Raghunath Temple & confluence view of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi at Devprayag.
Day 2: Kedarnath
• Participate in the evening aarti (prayer ceremony) at Kedarnath Temple. It’s a spiritually enriching experience.
• Kedarnath offers stunning views of the Himalayan peaks including Kedar Dome, Bharatekunta Peak, and others. The landscape is serene and ideal for nature lovers and photographers.
• Interact with locals to learn about their way of life, traditions, and customs. You can also try local cuisine.
Day 3: Gaurikund to Tilwara
• Have the local couisine in lunch at Gaurikund
• Explore the Tilwara market around the local villages.
• Interact with villagers to learn about their lifestyle traditions, and culture. This can often be a rich and rewarding experience.
• Try authentic local dishes and delicacies that are specific to the region.
Day 4: Badrinath
• This ancient and revered temple is the focal point of Badrinath. It’s one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and is believed to have been established by Adi Shankara in the 8th century.
• Explore Mana, the last village before the India-China border, which offers scenic views and cultural insights. Visit Vyas Gufa (cave) where Ved Vyasa is believed to have composed the Mahabharata.
• Trek to Charan Paduka, which offers panoramic views of the mountains and the valley. It’s believed to be the footprint of Lord Vishnu.
Day 5: Pipalkoti
• The journey from Badrinath to Pipalkoti in Uttarakhand offers some breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscapes and several interesting stops along the way
• Rudraprayag: This town is situated at the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. You can visit the Rudranath and Chamunda Devi temples here.
• Karnaprayag: Another scenic town located at the confluence of Alaknanda and Pindar rivers. It’s known for its temples and serene surroundings
Day 6: Rishikesh
• After Tea / Breakfast in Pipalkoti, we’ll head toward Rishikesh
• We will try to reach Rishikesh as per your convenience.
