Huge congrats to and for their first ski descent of the Lhotse Coulior! Big ups to the entire Lhotse Ski Expedition team for a successful and safe expedition...

See that epic line at the top of the shot? (Yes...zoom in.) Kind of committing considering it drops off the top of the fourth highest peak in the world from almost 28,000ft and remains a continuous 45-50+ degrees the entire way down - and likely bulletproof gnar. So stoked for them. This line captured my imagination ever since I took this photo in 2006 on our Everest descent. I mean what a line!!! (I have to admit...there’s been a little FOMO.) Well done Jim and Hilaree...I can only imagine what it must have taken to pull it off. So proud of you two.

On another note, great to see that a couple of the biggest high altitude ski mountaineering lines ever skied have been skied by women. and ...you two continue to inspire. 💪🏼⚔️💪🏼
