ABOUT DESTINATION

Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area which is a part of
kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India and a base for trekking to
Tungnath, third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) away. Located
at a distance of 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) from Tungnath is Chandrashila, rising to over

TRAVEL ITINERARY
Day 0 : DEPART FROM DELHI.

Depart from Akshardham Station, Delhi in the evening (Reporting time 8pm)

Day 1 : REACH CHOPTA LEISURE DAY
Arrive at Chopta and check-in to the camps. Rest for a while after the long journey. After lunch get ready to explore
the enchanting meadows of chopta. In evening enjoy bonfire in cold starry night followed by dinner and overnight
stay at camps.

Day 2 : TREK TO TUNGNATH & CHANDRASHILA

After breakfast commence the hike today early morning. The trek runs on a well-defined concrete bound trail from
Chopta to Tungnath Temple which is known to be the highest Lord Shiva Temple in the world. At the end of a
steep and arduous climb, Chandrashila summit will be reached with a 360 degree view r reaching campsite rest for
a while followed by bonfire, dinner and overnight stay at camps.

Day 3 : TREK TO DEORIATAL LAKE AND DEPARTURE

After breakfast checkout from camps and drive towards Sari Village which is about 30 minutes from campsite.
From Sari Village start the trek. It’s a 3 km easy trek which takes around 1- 2 hours. After reaching Deoria Tal
Lake enjoy some magnificent views of Chaukhamba peaks. Trek down to Sari village and depart for Delhi
Day 4 : ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi in the morning & share your memories with family and friends.

Cost per person Delhi to Delhi.
