The Chanshal Valley is also known as Chanshal pass and is acclaimed for its scenic beauty. It lies between Dodra Kwar and Rohru(Chirgaon) in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. It is approximately 180 km from Shimla and accessible by road.

Nanda Devi East and Dunagiri are both peaks in the Chamoli District Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India.

Nanda Devi East
Also known as Sunanda Devi, this peak is 7,434 meters (24,390 ft) tall and is part of the Garhwal Himalaya. It's the lower of the two adjacent peaks of Nanda Devi, the highest mountain in Uttarakhand and the second highest in India. The first ascent of Nanda Devi East was likely in 1939 by Jakub Bujak and Janusz Klarner.

Dunagiri
This peak is 7,066 meters (23,182 ft) tall and is located at the northwest corner of the Sanctuary Wall, a ring of peaks that surrounds Nanda Devi and the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. Dunagiri and other peaks are visible from the valley formed by glacial erosion in Nanda Devi National Park.
