To Lum Diengiei.

This picturesque trek begins at a locality on the outskirt of Shillong. From there you walk along a tarmac road at the end of it, a rough track descend down and continues along the stream for the better part of the trek. One can stop here, have lunch and walk up the same hill side via a different track, or cross the river and climb a ravine to the other side. Along the way one will pass several small,typically khasi villages .Once past these villages the climb to Lum Diengiei begins as you reach the top you will get a panoramic view of the Bhoi Hills. Lum Diengiei is a place steeped in Khasi mythology.
