Sachin Tendulkar is in Kashmir playing cricket on the road, clicking family pics in snow and becomes a wonderful ambassador of tourism in Kashmir Valley. On the contrary Himachal govt flashes broken roads Armageddon pictures of the destruction in the state sending a death knell to the tourism. Not to forget the 5000/ per day tax on taxis! Hats off to our netas and the babus ruining this state!

Very sorry state of affairs in Himachal Pradesh especially Kullu district. There were ladies with this group and still these people were beating up the tourists. Local goons are killing the golden goose of tourism. Whoever may be at fault beating up of tourists is unacceptable. Police needs to be involved in case of disputes. Be it Kasol, Tirthan or Manali, its the same story of high handedness of the locals. People traveling into the state especially Kullu district need to be cautious and keep an eye on such unruly people.

Even Shimla Police advises to not drive in snow at night!

Snow is falling continuously in the upper areas of Shimla District. Below mentioned Major Roads are blocked due to snowfall:-
1. Theog-Chopal road near Khidki.
2. Theog-Rohru Road near Khadapather.
3. Theog-Rampur Road Near Narkanda.
Apart from the above Shimla-Theog road is slippery between Kufri-Galu-Fagu.
Shimla Police requests you to not drive on above roads, in emergency travel by safer alternate route. In case of any emergency please contact on 01772812344, 112 or nearest Police Station.

शिमला जिले के ऊपरी इलाकों में लगातार हिमपात हो रहा है। नीचे उल्लिखित प्रमुख सड़कें हिमपात के कारण अवरुद्ध हैं:-
1. ठियोग-चोपाल रोड खिडकी के पास।
2. खड़ापाथेर के पास ठियोग-रोहड़ू रोड।
3. ठियोग-रामपुर रोड नारकंडा के पास।
उपरोक्त के अलावा शिमला-ठियोग सड़क कुफरी-गालू-फागू के बीच फिसलन भरी है। शिमला पुलिस आपसे अनुरोध करती है कि रात के समय उपरोक्त मार्गों पर यात्रा न करें और आपात स्थिति में सुरक्षित वैकल्पिक मार्ग से यात्रा करें। आपातकालीन स्थिति में सहायता के लिए पुलिस सहायता कक्ष 01772812344, 112 या नजदीकी पुलिस थाना में संपर्क करें।

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑹𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝑯𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝟐𝟕 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏

Himachal Govt has changed rules for people entering into Himachal Pradesh due to rising Covid 19 cases in the state.

- All people entering into Himachal Pradesh will have to undergo a RT-PCR test, conducted not earlier than 72 hours before entering the state. Additionally one will have to 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 on the Himachal Pradesh epass portal https://covid19epass.hp.gov.in/applications/epass/apply before entering Himachal Pradesh.

- 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 have been placed at all entry points of Himachal Pradesh and people entering Himachal Pradesh will have to show the RT-PCR negative report and the epass registration. A QR code would be generated after registration that would be scanned on state borders.

- Those coming into the state without RT-PCR report will have to undergo quarantine for a period of 14 days. This can be an institutional / home quarantine.

- People traveling into or outside of Himachal Pradesh will be allowed entry provided they get back within 72 hours. This is for the people traveling for 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 purpose only.

- 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 category has been removed from the online epass website. Clearly tourists are 𝐧𝐨𝐭 welcome for the time being into the state.

Above restrictions are valid till May 10, 2021 and the govt may review the same depending on the situation later on.
