⚠️Masjid Al Haram has more than 200 gates.

And when it’s crowded… choosing the wrong one can cost you time, energy — and patience.

Here are 4 gate numbers every pilgrim should remember:

1️⃣ If you’re going for Tawaf (Mataaf access)
Gates 1, 45, 63, 79 and 100 usually lead directly toward the Kaaba area for those in ihram.

If you’re planning Umrah, don’t just enter randomly.
Gate choice matters.
Many prefer:
• Gate 1 (King Abdulaziz)
• Gate 79 (King Fahad)
• Gate 63 (often called Umrah Gate)

2️⃣ Gate 88
Next to the Emergency Centre (King Fahad Expansion – first floor).
Open 24/7 for medical assistance.
Save this. You may never need it — but if you do, you’ll be grateful you knew.

3️⃣ Gate 104
Near the Children’s Hospitality Centre.
They provide free childcare (first 3 hours) for pilgrims.
Girls: 2–10 years
Boys: 2–8 years
Not many people know this exists.

4️⃣ Gate 1
Directly opposite the Clock Tower Mall entrance.
If you’re staying in Clock Tower area, this one will save you steps.
Inside the mall — clean food courts, wide variety, easier for families.

Makkah is easier when you move with knowledge.
Save this for your trip.

Your future self will thank you. 🤍

⚠️ If you’re going to Rawdah, read this first.

Many women lose their focus — not because of the crowd,
but because they rush.

Here’s what you need to know:

1️⃣ You do NOT need to run.
Running will not give you a better spot. The flow is controlled by staff.

2️⃣ Follow your group & timing.
If you come with a group — stay with them.
If you come individually — make sure your Nusuk permit is active and at the correct time.

Queue calmly. Send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ while waiting.

3️⃣ Come already in wudhu.
Toilets are far. If you leave the line, you may not get back in.

4️⃣ Once inside: pray 2 rakaah and make du’a briefly.
Do not argue for space.
Do not block others for long du’a.
Everyone is waiting for the same moment.

5️⃣ If you miss your slot:
Go immediately to your muthawif or supervisor. Sometimes they can reassign.

🔎 Best positioning tip:
Stand slightly behind the tightest crowd line. When space opens naturally, move forward gently — don’t force it.

Acceptance of du’a is known only by Allah.
Not by how close you stood.

Save this before your visit.

🌙When Masjid al-Haram gets crowded…
everyone looks up.

Rooftop. Upper floors. Follow the crowd.
But have you ever looked down?

There’s a lower (basement) prayer level connected to the King Fahad Expansion — and many pilgrims don’t even realize it’s there.

✅️It’s air-conditioned.
✅️Quieter compared to upper floors (depending on time).
✅️Separate sections for men and women.
✅️Zamzam taps available.

Instead of going up with everyone else, you can go down.

📍 Access via downward escalators or stairs near:
• Gate 65
• Gate 66
• Gate 91
• Gate 92

Follow the signs to the lower prayer halls.

It’s part of the Haram boundary and used as overflow during peak times.

Next time it feels too tight above…
try changing direction.

Not up.
Down.

Save this before your next visit. 🤍
