⚠️Masjid Al Haram has more than 200 gates.
And when it’s crowded… choosing the wrong one can cost you time, energy — and patience.
Here are 4 gate numbers every pilgrim should remember:
1️⃣ If you’re going for Tawaf (Mataaf access)
Gates 1, 45, 63, 79 and 100 usually lead directly toward the Kaaba area for those in ihram.
If you’re planning Umrah, don’t just enter randomly.
Gate choice matters.
Many prefer:
• Gate 1 (King Abdulaziz)
• Gate 79 (King Fahad)
• Gate 63 (often called Umrah Gate)
2️⃣ Gate 88
Next to the Emergency Centre (King Fahad Expansion – first floor).
Open 24/7 for medical assistance.
Save this. You may never need it — but if you do, you’ll be grateful you knew.
3️⃣ Gate 104
Near the Children’s Hospitality Centre.
They provide free childcare (first 3 hours) for pilgrims.
Girls: 2–10 years
Boys: 2–8 years
Not many people know this exists.
4️⃣ Gate 1
Directly opposite the Clock Tower Mall entrance.
If you’re staying in Clock Tower area, this one will save you steps.
Inside the mall — clean food courts, wide variety, easier for families.
Makkah is easier when you move with knowledge.
Save this for your trip.
Your future self will thank you. 🤍
