On 6 August 2026, The Ministry Of Tourism and Netflix India launched "As Seen India". It is a new section on the Incredible India website where travellers can explore real filming locations, local traditions and experiences shown in Netflix films and series. The initiative was launched as Netflix marked 10 years in India. It is part of Netflixโs partnership with the Ministry of Tourism to promote Indiaโs tourist places and culture through its films and stories. The announcement was made at an event held at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA). Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Netflix Co CEO Ted Sarandos spoke about how Indian stories can attract more tourists and help grow the countryโs creative economy. The event featured two new videos about Indiaโs wildlife and cultural heritage. These videos further strengthened the partnership between the government and Netflix. The partnership began with an MOU signed between the Ministry of Tourism and Netflix India last year. Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that, "India's stories have always been our greatest cultural ambassadors. As technology brings the world closer together, our collaboration with Netflix creates an extraordinary opportunity to take India to the world and bring the world to India."
