Areca Valley stay is situated just 15 kilometers away from Sirsi town. Its silence is broken only by birds chirping and an occasional murmur of cicadas springing out of the ground during the monsoon. Surrounded by tall areca ( supari) palms on one side and rolling forests on the other, it is Green , Green and Green everywhere all through the year. The areca plantations are the prime examples of un

ique 3D agriculture. The understory consists of Banana,Cocoa,Papaya,Clove,Cinnamon,Nutmeg and Cardamom plants. It is a veritable bouquet of spices. The adjoining forests are also full of naturally grown Sandalwood , Jackfruits , Mango, Soapnut and Garcinia trees along with a number of medicinal and aromatic plants. This incredible variety in vegetation types gives rise to an astonishing for diversity of birds and mammals.

Recently we hosted these fabulous three ladies in our homestay. It felt good to see their enthusiasm and energy. The way they planned this trip and enjoyed every bit of the stay was really commendable.
As you all know already that our Homestay is run by 2 Women Entrepreneurs,so it was kind of a Special Moment hosting these beautiful 'Women Only Travellers'..!!

We were privileged and delighted to have had the opportunity to host the "Bhoomiputri" event at our premises on 6th Dec. We were graced by the presence of our Honorable MP Mr. Ananthkumar Hegde.

ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆಯವರು ನೆನ್ನೆಯ ದಿನ ಶಿರಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ Kadamba ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಭೂಮಿಪುತ್ರಿಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೊದಲ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಕೃಷಿ ಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಕೃಷಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು, ಅದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಶಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೇ ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾಣದ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಯುತಗೊಳಿಸಲು, ಅವರ ಗೆಲುವುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಅವರೆದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಸಾಗಬೇಕಾದ ದಾರಿಯಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ತೆರೆದಿಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ನೂತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಚಂದ್ರ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಕೆ ಡಿ ಸಿ ಸಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಭಟ್, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರು, ಭೂಮಿಪುತ್ರಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ಅರೇಕಾ ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ಹೋಮ್ ಸ್ಟೇ, ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂತಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
