The place that is circled is called Dar An Nadwah, which is where the elite of the Quraish would convene important meetings.

The Da'wah of the Prophet ﷺ was spreading fast in Makkah, and the Kuffar of Quraish deemed it as a threat.

So, on one of the nights, they convened a meeting to find out on how to deal with the Prophet ﷺ.

Ideas that were suggested were :
- To imprison him
- To expel him.

But Iblees came in the guise of an old man, and rejected all these ideas, putting forth an idea far worse ; to assassinate the Prophet ﷺ.

The Quraish agreed, and they tried to execute the plan, but Allah saved the Prophet ﷺ.

The place of Dar An Nadwah was in the northern side of Al Masjid Al Haram, and was incorporated into Al Masjid Al Haram in the expansion of Abu Ja'far Al Mansur in the 2nd century of Hijri.

Saudi officials have found an inscription in Madinah dating to the early Islamic period bearing the name of Umar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه. It reads:

“Allah is the guardian of Umar ibn al-Khattab in this world and the hereafter.”

“Laa ilaaha illa Allah.”
