Sometimes, the mountains say NO.

Twice this year, I set out to see Krasnaag, but both times, bad weather forced me to turn back. This time, I was hoping the mountains would finally say YES.

Me and Danish started at 10 AM, from sukhnai drove straight to Sukhnai from srinagar, and began our hike from the Nagandera side. From there, we climbed straight towards the pass at an altitude of 4570 mtrs pushed through the steep terrain and altitude, and then descended towards Krasnaag.

Instead of returning the same way, we completed it as a full circuit—Nagandera side to the pass, down from the Krasnaag side, completing the loop, and finally returning back home the same day.

The challenge was simple: Could I do this entire circuit in a day?

The steep climbs, altitude, and demanding terrain made it a serious test. But we kept pushing, step by step.

What started as a challenge to myself became a day of proving that sometimes you just have to trust your training, trust your partner, and keep moving.

The mountains had said NO twice. This time, they finally said YES.

Alhamdulillah, we did it. ⛰️
