NEW YEAR TRIP ANNOUNCEMENT!!🎿
A lot of people have been asking us about the trip that we’ll be doing in the last week of December. And the most anticipated, the big year end trip is now live!
We are doing a trip to Kashmir from December 27 to Jan 3! Drop your email ids in the comments section if you would like to see the itinerary and join us for the trip! Do share and invite friends too..
After a phenomenally successful and memorable trip to the heavenly Kashmir the last two winters, we still quite haven’t been able to get over it! The snowy mountains are calling and we must go again!
We are going to Srinagar, Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam in this trip, and we shall try visit the most beautiful locations in all these places. We are going to a village that only makes cricket bats, and we will be going up the highest cable car in the world. There is some beginner skiing for those interested, and of course riding in shikaras in the beautiful Dal lake. We will be sauntering in the pretty valleys, sitting around bonfires at night and seeing a thousand stars in the sky.
We are going to see a state that is arguably India's prettiest, visually. And we are going to see it in winter. When it is at its purest, when the Himalayan mountains have powder white snow, when the trees - the leaves and branches of the Chinars and the Deodars have a whitish silvery tinge, the meadows are carpeted green and white - making Kashmir look like a magical fairyland.
There won't be many tourists in this season. This trip is not about dancing in bars and clubs. Of course we will party, for New Years have to be celebrated with much enthusiasm, but we will probably be doing it in big rooms in our cottages, or around bonfires on cold nights and a thousand stars smiling upon us from the sky.
This trip is about letting go of all of 2020 and spending the last week of this year with yourself. Wake up to Kashmiri kahwa tea, take in the morning sun, and later road trip with your new friends. This trip is about playing in the snow, about sitting on mountains and taking in the incredibly gorgeous panoramas, sitting by bristling icy rivers, conversing with friends, and spending time with yourself.
The temperatures will be in single digits and if its a very cold winter, maybe a couple of days temperatures will be in minus degrees in the night, but we will have warm rooms, cozy blankets, bonfires, and the nice big bunch of trippers all huddling close and talking till the wee hours of the night .
I think this trip is basically for travellers who love the mountains, who love snow, who love the peace and tranquility of the nature, who are not looking for a wild end to 2020 but a beautiful as well as relaxed one.
