FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Subject: Fraudulent Activities by Imaan Tour and Travels - Urgent Public Advisory
[Srinagar, 1st Feb, 2024]
It has come to our attention that Imaan Tour and Travels, owned by Zahoor Ahmad Kumar (Khan ) , has engaged in fraudulent activities, leaving Umrah pilgrims stranded in Makkah without return tickets. Despite previous warnings and counseling, the agency has not rectified its actions, prompting the expulsion of Imaan Tour and Travels from the JKAHUC association.
The Jammu Kashmir Association of Hajj & Umrah Companies (JKAHUC) strongly condemns these heinous actions and emphasizes the need for public awareness. The association advises the general public to exercise caution against agencies offering unrealistically low package rates for Umrah or Hajj, as they may engage in deceptive practices.
To avoid falling victim to fraudulent schemes, individuals are urged to thoroughly research and verify the reputation of travel agencies before booking pilgrimage services. JKAHUC remains committed to protecting the interests of pilgrims and maintaining the integrity of religious journeys.
For further information or assistance, please contact JKAHUC at [email protected] ].
