For the longest time, I thought a "real" vacation meant going abroad.

But the more I travel, the more I realize how much we underestimate our own country.

Kashmir gives those cinematic snow-covered views.
Goa has streets and vibes that remind you of Europe.
Kerala offers the kind of peaceful luxury people fly across the world to find.
Sikkim feels straight out of a travel magazine.
And Andaman honestly surprised me with water so clear it didn't feel like India at all.

Maybe the issue isn't that we need foreign trips.

Maybe we just haven't explored enough of India yet.

Now I'm genuinely curious...

I used to think Goa was the only beach destination worth visiting.

Then I visited Gokarna.

No crazy crowds. No overpriced clubs. No fighting for a spot on the beach. Just clean shores, peaceful vibes, and sunsets that honestly felt better than most Goa sunsets.

The best part? I spent ₹2000–₹3000 less on stay and food.

Maybe Goa is still perfect if you're looking for parties.

But if you're looking for peace, I think Gokarna wins.

Am I the only one who feels this way, or is Gokarna the better choice now?

Confession… I think Shimla is becoming more stressful than relaxing

Last trip mein bas traffic, crowded Mall Road aur overpriced hotels hi mile. Mountains dekhne gaye the… but pura time bheed mein nikal gaya.

Then someone suggested Chail just 45 minutes away from Shimla. Honestly, same weather, same mountain vibe… but way more peaceful

Hotels bhi almost ₹2000–₹3000 cheaper the, roads calm thi, aur nature actually feel hua instead of tourist chaos.

Now I genuinely don’t know why more people aren’t talking about Chail.

Am I the only one who feels Shimla is overrated now? Ya still worth the hype?

Confession time…
Mujhe lagta tha luxury hotel booking sirf expensive apps aur fancy memberships se hoti hai. Fir pata chala ki kuch room categories toh apps pe dikhte hi nahi

Recently “Ghumau Kya” ke through booking dekhi… direct hotel management contacts, private deals, perfect views aur honestly… pura VIP wala feel tha. Normal booking aur isme genuinely huge difference laga.

Ab samajh aaya ki kabhi kabhi right connections matter more than discount coupons.

Tum log kya prefer karte ho… normal booking apps ya private luxury deals?
