Day 3 (DAY FREE)
Today after a sumptuous breakfast, the day is free to explore the most visited city in the world NEW YORK…
Explore the world famous Times Square, do the world class shopping, click some memorable photographs with your partner t the Times Square, visit the attractions like Fifth Avenue shopping, Radio City Music Hall, NBC Studios and Central Park. There is time to browse through the many shops dotting New York’s famed Times Square in the heart of the theatre district, or just stroll through the streets of central Manhattan.
Later in the evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel Hampton Hilton Manhattan or similar, in New York or similar.

Day 2
Enjoy the sights of New York City on an extensive guided city tour. Later, be dazzled by the lights at ‘The Times Square’.

After an American breakfast, board your deluxe air-conditioned coach and proceed on an amazing city tour with an expert local guide, visit the 9/11 memorial, see the Theatre District, Chinatown, Wall Street, Central Park and many more highlights of this vibrant city. Great opportunities to photograph the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges as you continue on your city tour. See the United Nations’ Global Headquarters and the Trump Tower.
Later, enjoy a beautiful scenic boat cruise to the Liberty Island for a close up view of “The Statue of Liberty”. We then proceed to the top of the Empire State Building to appreciate the American cultural icon. Have the world at your feet as you view the city from the observatory of this contemporary architectural wonder. Get a top the ‘Top of the Rock’ Observatory Deck at the Rockefeller Centre.
Later in the evening, proceed for a delicious dinner at an Indian restaurant. Next, take a stroll along New York’s supreme landmark - ‘Times Square’ by night. Overnight at Hotel Hampton Hilton Manhattan or similar, in New York or similar.

Queenstown

Head out of Queenstown and the drama of the Central Otago landscape unfolds around you. If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan you’ll recognize many of the locations of Middle-earth here. Twenty minutes from Queenstown, Arrowtown’s gold-mining history is alive and vibrant. Visit the Lakes District Museum or go gold panning. Forty minutes from Queenstown at the northern tip of Lake Wakatipu is rural Glenorchy and Paradise Valley. From here it’s a short drive into the Mt Aspiring National Park and the start of some of New Zealand’s great walks.

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Kyoto, Japan

Arashiyama is a pleasant, touristy district in the western outskirts of Kyoto. The area has been a popular destination since the Heian Period (794-1185), when nobles would enjoy its natural setting. Arashiyama is particularly popular during the cherry blossom and fall color seasons.

The Togetsukyo Bridge is Arashiyama's well known, central landmark. Many small shops, restaurants and other attractions are found nearby, including Tenryuji Temple, Arashiyama's famous bamboo groves and pleasure boats that are available for rent on the river.

North of central Arashiyama the atmosphere becomes less touristy and more rural, with several small temples scattered along the base of the wooded mountains. The area north of the Togetsukyo Bridge is also known as Sagano, while the name "Arashiyama" technically just refers to the mountains on the southern bank of the river but is commonly used to name the entire district.
