Explore the Wild Heart of Central India
The forests of central India, covering Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and parts of Maharashtra, are home to iconic wildlife such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian leopard, dhole (wild dog), gaur, sloth bear, barasingha (swamp deer), and a wide range of bird species. These highlands offer a habitat not just for tigers but also for jungle cats, jackals, foxes, peafowl, crested serpent eagles, and many more.
With every safari and nature walk, travel supports conservation and provides livelihoods for local communities. Tourism helps fund protection efforts, raises awareness, and offers employment to park rangers and nearby villages.
However, increased visits can cause stress for sensitive animals like tigers, lead to crowding at popular wildlife spots, and disrupt the natural behavior of rare species. Responsible travel—such as following park guidelines, keeping noise levels low, and respecting wildlife distance—ensures these animals continue to thrive in their natural environment for generations.
