Uzbekistan Visa for Indian Nationals:

As per ther Uzbekistan Presidential Decree (PF-180, dated 29 August 2026) on visa-free entry for Indian nationals. We'd like to clarify that this is NOT a blanket visa-free policy for all Indian passport holders.Indian nationals can enter Uzbekistan visa-free for up to 30 days ONLY if they meet BOTH of the following:

They hold a valid, current multiple-entry business or tourist visa issued by any of the following: Australia, USA, UK, Canada, South Korea, a Schengen Agreement member country, New Zealand, or Japan.

They can present a return/onward air ticket to their home country or a third country.

What this means in practice:

An Indian traveler with only an Indian passport and no valid US/UK/Schengen/etc. visa still needs to apply for a regular Uzbekistan visa. This benefit is designed for Indians who already travel frequently to these countries and hold valid multi-entry visas there.

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is set to return to India after a 17-year absence with the launch of non-stop flights between Copenhagen and Mumbai from 1 October 2026. The new service will restore SAS’s direct presence in the Indian market while strengthening air connectivity between India and Scandinavia, offering travellers greater access between Mumbai and Denmark.
