It is considered among the oldest and most scientific martial arts in the world.
Kalaripayattu was developed in Kerala and it is a pride of Kerala.
It is respected across the world, The training begins with an oil massage of the entire body until it is agile and supple.

From October to April, North malabar will be in celebration mode as It is the time when "Theyyam",their beloved traditional ritual art is performed. Theyyam is the dance of gods performed in honor of Godess Kaali. The name derives from Daivam(God) and Attam (dance). Dancers are considered as the channel of God and give blesdings to people. The flamboyant costumes itself is an eyecandy. It's already October. Malabar is calling!

A mixture of cuture and rituals. A ritual art in it's finest form. "Kolam thullal" is the major attraction of Padayani. 'Kolam' is a facial mask made by drawing images on palm leaves. The dancers represent divine forces once they wear these masks. Padayani is performed to commemorate the victory of Goddess Durga over the demons.
