The construction of Rajmahal Bhindar was started by Maharaj Shakti Singh Ji the younger brother of Maharana Pratap in 1578 AD.Its a 432 years old palace. The palace was expanded several times by successive rulers. The palace consists of living quarters, Zenana mahal(the ladies chamber) , courtyards and muralled walls, terraces etc. Bhindar is situated in the general direction east-south - east o

f the city of udaipur. On the National highway no. 76 to Ajmer-Jaipur and then delhi, eIther you peel off right at Bhatewar or Keer ki chowki, Bhindar lies about 65 kms from Udaipur.
