Adiyogi - The source of Yoga

The Isha foundation in chikkaballapura, Bangalore houses an 112ft adiyogi statue. It's a replica of a popular statue at Isha yoga center in Coimbatore.

It's near Nandihill's route. You can plan both places in one day. Morning visit sunrise at nandihills and evening 5:30 PM explore Adiyogi and enjoy the place and stay back for an awesome laser show which happens 7:15-7:30 PM.

Some glimpses of lasers can be found on video attached in post. If you are standing at the end you will enjoy a cinematic view.

FYI : Canteen is available at adiyogi centre. You can find South Indian food there.

Located at a distance of 8 kms from north-west Pondicherry is the City of Dawn or Auroville. Matrimandir is a place for individual silent concentration and is situated in the centre of Auroville city.

The Matrimandir took 37 years to build, from the laying of the foundation stone at sunrise on 21 February 1971. Matrimandir is a combination of modern western and traditional Indian architecture.

Prior booking is required to access the Matrimandir for concentration at least a day or two in advance.
Those who interested to just visit the town.
- Go to Visitor's center.
- In small theater they presents a documentary which tells history and the idea behind the Matrimandir.
- Free shuttle service is provided from the Visitors' Centre to the Viewing Point for those who may find it difficult to walk the approximately 1-kilometre distance each way.

Have you ever imagined desert place in Karnataka state.??
Yes... But here we have mini desert known as "Talakadu".

A historic site, Talakadu as number of temples that are buried under the sand dunes. the place is filled with sand with no perfect scientific theory to explain the phenomenon. It is also popular for five Shiva temples, and a few other temples are said to be lying underneath the sand. The Pathaleshwara Temple, the Maruleshwara Temple, the Vaidhyeshwara Temple and the Mallikarjuna Temple are the Pancha-Lingas that represent the five faces of Lord Shiva.

Outside temple wall you will find five headed Snake and two stone ring chain which is incredible...!!
