Job Title - Outbound Travel Consultant
Location – Udaipur
Job Description:
• Designing itinerary, costing, hotel bookings, visa, etc.
• Handling customers for inbound/ Outbound holiday packages, follow up with customers and clients.
• Would require customization of existing holiday packages or building entirely a new package as per customer needs.
• Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Research appropriate holidays destinations suitable for adding to the portfolio
• Present the customer with recommendations and advise them on travel accessibility concerns
• Liaise with tour operators making sure they understand the customer's requirements
• Dealing with Reservations, Operations, and Negotiations section
• Operational duties (air and land arrangements) ticket bookings
• Creative planning and designing of itineraries
• Managing the reservations process for bookings in a manner which ensures guest budget is achieved
• Collect deposits and balances. Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages through various online channels.
• Handle unforeseen problems and complaints
• Attend conferences, webinars (Online / offline) to maintain familiarity with tourism trends.
Requirements:
o Proven working experience as a travel consultant.
o Thorough knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and related)
o Proficiency in English is a must
o Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach.
o Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc).
o Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively.
o Demonstrable ability to handle crisis.
o Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field.
o Candidates with personal travel experience preferred
Remuneration – INR 20K to 25K per month.
