Your four day Karnataka holiday itinerary
*DAY1 Arrive at the Kempegowda International Airport/Bangalore City Railway Station inBengaluru and meet our representative. Get transferred to Hassan, located in the south western part of Karnataka in India. On the way to Hassan, visit Shravanabelagola, one of the important holy destinations and see the famous Gomteshwara statue. Then proceed to Belur and visit Chennakesava Temple which was constructed in 1117 AD and the entire structure is made of greenish soapstone. Then proceed to Halebidu and visit Hoysaleswara Temple that stands as a testimonial of the bygone era. This outstanding structure of the temple has been accredited for being the epitome of Hindu architecture. Arrive in Hassan and check-in at the hotel. Unwind the day as you enjoy a relaxing overnight stay in Hassan.
*DAY2 After a delicious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Hospet.. In the evening, arrive in Hospet and check-in at the hotel. Spend the rest of your day at leisure. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Hospet.
*DAY3 Grab a delightful breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Proceed to visit Hampi. For the history lovers, Hampi is an inspiration with its innumerable heritage sites. Visit the ruins scattered over a landscape that leaves you spellbound with heaps of giant boulders perched over miles of undulating terrain. Start your tour with a visit to Hazara Rama Temple and Vittala Temple known for its splendid architecture. Then visit Lotus Mahal, a majestic structure located among the rich architectural ruins of Hampi. Next, visit theElephant Stable, the rooms were elephants were tied in the domes of brick and mortar and are of different shapes drum-shaped, ribbed and octagonal. Capture the giant square structure in three layers from where the king used to watch the army march-past i.e. theMahanavami Dibba. See the Queen’s Bath, a plane rectangular building from outside. Also visit the Lakshmi Narasimha Statue and the Badavi Linga, a largest monolithic Linga in Hampi. After the sightseeing proceed to Badami, famous for its magnificent rock-cut cave temples and red sandstone cliffs. As you arrive in the evening, check-in at the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel in Badami.
*DAY4 After a healthy breakfast check-out from the hotel. Depart for Aihole, a place of great heritage and architectural wonder. Visit the Durga Temple and Lad Khan Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples. Also explore the Ravalphadi Ave Temple and KuntiTemple that houses four holy temples on its premise. Proceed to Pattadakal which is a World Heritage Site. Known to be a temple building school in the olden days, visit the major temples in here from Virupaksha Temple to Mallikarjuna Temple, Papanatha Temple. Also see Jambulinga Temple that houses a fine figure of dancing Shiva with the bull Nandi and Goddess Parvati by his side is a beautiful feature of this temple. At last visit the Kasivisvesvara Temple, which was built by Rashtrakutas in the eight century. In the afternoon proceed to the Kempegowda International Airport/Bangalore City Railway Station in Bengaluru to board a flight back home. Capture some of the beautiful memories to cherish.
