⏩वृत्त स्तरीय गिद्ध गणना कार्यशाला संपन्न

⏩बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व के ईको सेंटर ताला में प्रदेशव्यापी शीतकालीन गिद्ध गणना वर्ष 2025-26 हेतु वृत्त स्तरीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला में वन वृत्त शहडोल अंतर्गत उत्तर शहडोल, दक्षिण शहडोल, उमरिया, अनूपपुर एवं बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व उमरिया के समस्त उप वनमण्डलाधिकारी तथा परिक्षेत्र अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

⏩कार्यशाला में वल्चर कमेटी के सदस्य एवं मास्टर ट्रेनर दिलशेर खान द्वारा मध्य प्रदेश में देखे जाने वाले स्थायी एवं प्रवासी गिद्ध प्रजातियों की पहचान एवं रहवास के सम्बंध में प्रस्तुतीकरण दिया गया। कार्यशाला में मोहन नागवानी द्वारा इस वर्ष गिद्ध गणना में प्रयोग किए जाने वाले मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन Epicollect5 Data संचालन का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।

⏩ कार्यशाला में उपस्थित क्षेत्र संचालक बांधवगढ टाईगर रिजर्व उमरिया द्वारा प्रदेश व्यापी गिद्ध गणना के गिद्ध संरक्षण में महत्व पर जानकारी प्रदान की गई। उप संचालक बांधवगढ टाईगर रिजर्व द्वारा कार्यशाला में उपस्थित समस्त अधिकारियों को मैदानी अमले को भी प्रशिक्षण प्रदाय करने के निर्देश दिए। कार्यशाला के अंत में आभार प्रदर्शन उपवनमंडल अधिकारी पनपथा द्वारा किया गया। मध्य प्रदेश में 20 फरवरी से 22 फरवरी तक मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन के माध्यम से गिद्ध गणना की जाएगी। कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य क्षेत्रीय अधिकारियों एवं वन कर्मचारियों को गणना हेतु नवीन पद्धतियों से अवगत कराकर प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करना था।
