Pray for Sikkim specially North Sikkim 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌧️

⚠️⚠️Mangan-Chungthang road temporarily cut off at
Meyong Khola due to rise in water level🌊
Due to a huge increase in the water level at Meyong Khola, along the Mangan-Chungthang route,
The road is temporarily cut off, and all the vehicles
on both sides have been diverted back to their
respective places and advised to stay in safe places till the situation comes to normal.🚧
It was decided that the route would be unsafe for
travel. Therefore, direction was issued to the
concerned check posts to stop movement of vehicles from both Chungthang side as well as Mangan side.Further decision would be taken once the water level recedes. The district administration is closely
monitoring the situation.
Lower Dzongu Road is blocked at Phee Khola near
Phidang village commuters are advised to avoid
traveling on this stretch for now.

Taram-Chu Bridge, Lachen🚧

📣A few days ago we were glad and excessively happy to cross this bridge 2 times. But unfortunately suddenly a massive Landslide occurred on 05.04.2026.
A huge crowd of tourists and riders are stuck in this situation. Sikkim govt and tourism authority are trying to recover them from this critical situation via Dongkha la Pass Cholamu Lake Road.
⛈️ Weather Update: Heavy rainfall in North Sikkim lower side mean Mangan District Lachen and relatively heavy snowfall ❄️ at Mangan upper side mean Thangu Kalapatthar Gurudongmar Tso Lhammo Lake area.
Itzz a heavy high alert ⚠️🚨 situation.
God please help and keep safe Sikkim, all sikkim tourists and all riders 🤞🏼🙏🏼

Total upset moments for All Bikers and Tourists as well as Sikkim Tourism.
✴️✴️Lachung Yumthang Zero point tours will be not affected
Chungthang to Lachung road is open and okay 👍🏼

Lachen - Gurudongmar Road will take 6-7 days to recover the current situation.
