📢 Important Update: New Railway Ticket Cancellation Rules! 🚆
Planning a trip soon? Make sure you’re aware of these major changes to train ticket cancellations and refunds to avoid losing your money.
💸 New Refund Slab (Based on Time)
If you need to cancel your ticket, the amount you get back now depends strictly on the countdown to your train’s departure:
* Less than 8 Hours: No refund will be provided.
* 8 to 24 Hours: A 50% cancellation charge will be deducted.
* 24 to 72 Hours: A 25% cancellation charge will be deducted.
* More than 72 Hours: Standard refund rules apply as per the old policy.
✅ Better Flexibility & Convenience
The railway has also introduced two user-friendly updates:
* Offline Cancellations: You can now cancel your offline (counter) tickets at any railway station. Previously, this was often restricted to the terminating or specific stations.
* Last-Minute Updates: You can now update your journey details up to 30 minutes before the train departs.
> Tips :- Always keep an eye on the clock! If you’re unsure about your travel plans, deciding at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance will save you the most money.

📢 গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আপডেট: নতুন রেলওয়ে টিকিট বাতিলের নিয়ম! 🚆
ভ্রমণের পরিকল্পনা করছেন? তাহলে অবশ্যই এই নতুন নিয়মগুলো জেনে নিন, নাহলে আপনার টাকার ক্ষতি হতে পারে।
💸 নতুন রিফান্ড নিয়ম (সময়ের উপর ভিত্তি করে)
টিকিট বাতিল করলে এখন আপনি কত টাকা ফেরত পাবেন, তা পুরোপুরি নির্ভর করবে ট্রেন ছাড়ার সময়ের উপরঃ
• ৮ ঘণ্টার কম: কোনো রিফান্ড দেওয়া হবে না।
• ৮ থেকে ২৪ ঘণ্টা: ৫০% বাতিল চার্জ কাটা হবে।
• ২৪ থেকে ৭২ ঘণ্টা: ২৫% বাতিল চার্জ কাটা হবে।
• ৭২ ঘণ্টার বেশি: আগের নিয়ম অনুযায়ী স্বাভাবিক রিফান্ড প্রযোজ্য।
✅ আরও সুবিধা ও সহজতা
রেলওয়ে যাত্রীদের জন্য কিছু নতুন সুবিধাও চালু করেছে:
• অফলাইন বাতিল: এখন যেকোনো রেলওয়ে স্টেশন থেকে কাউন্টার টিকিট বাতিল করা যাবে (আগে নির্দিষ্ট স্টেশনে সীমাবদ্ধ ছিল)।
• শেষ মুহূর্তে আপডেট: ট্রেন ছাড়ার ৩০ মিনিট আগ পর্যন্ত যাত্রার তথ্য পরিবর্তন করা যাবে।
💡 টিপস: সবসময় সময়ের দিকে নজর রাখুন! যদি ভ্রমণ নিয়ে নিশ্চিত না থাকেন, তাহলে অন্তত ৩ দিন (৭২ ঘণ্টা) আগে সিদ্ধান্ত নিন—তাহলেই সবচেয়ে বেশি টাকা বাঁচাতে পারবেন।
