Living in Qatar, Oman, Saudi, Kuwait or Bahrain and planning a Dubai trip?

Most people don't realise: your Gulf residence card does NOT get you a visa on arrival in Dubai. Indian passport holders still need a pre-approved e-visa, whether you fly or drive in.

Driving in? You don't need flight tickets, just your car registration (mulkiya) or vehicle border-exit permit instead.

And one thing almost nobody tells you: at the land border, always confirm the officer records BOTH your entry AND exit. A missed exit stamp can leave you looking like an overstayer on paper, even after you've already left the UAE.
