Not just a tower—it’s the beginning of a new architectural chapter in India. 🕌
Standing at 72.5 metres (238 feet), Qutub Minar has watched over Delhi for more than 800 years. Construction began in 1199 CE under Qutb-ud-din Aibak, was continued by Shams ud-Din Iltutmish, and later completed by Firoz Shah Tughlaq after parts of it were damaged by lightning.
Built from red sandstone and marble, every storey is adorned with intricate carvings and Quranic inscriptions, making it one of the finest examples of early Indo-Islamic architecture.
Today, it’s more than a monument—it’s a reminder that history isn’t just read in books; it’s carved in stone.

Located at the sacred confluence of the River Ganga and the ancient Assi stream, Assi Ghat is believed to be the place where Goddess Durga threw her sword (Asi) after defeating the demons **Shumbha and Nishumbha**, giving this revered ghat its name.

Every sunrise here is more than a beautiful view—it is a living tradition. The rhythmic chants of Vedic mantras, the sound of temple bells, the fragrance of incense, and the gentle flow of Maa Ganga create an atmosphere where devotion meets peace.
