Khasi lanes have a way of surprising you every single time. ✨
Turn a corner, walk a little further, and there’s something raw, unexpected, and almost magical waiting for you.

Just pure street life, untouched moments, and a little bit of extraordinary at every step. 📸

Khaini — more than just to***co.

In Uttar Pradesh, khaini is almost a part of everyday life.
At a chai stall, in the middle of a conversation, during a break from work — you’ll find it everywhere.

But behind that familiar pinch of to***co lies a story of culture, habit, addiction, and generations.

We’re exploring Khaini the way it exists on the streets of UP — raw, unfiltered, and without judgment.

How common is Khaini where you live? 👀

Banaras isn’t just a place you visit — it’s a place you taste. ❤️

From a hot plate of kachori-sabzi in the morning to a creamy lassi, tamatar chaat, seasonal malaiyo and that final bite of Banarasi paan… every corner of Kashi has something waiting to be tried.

So, if you’re planning a Banaras trip, save this one. And tell us — what’s the one Banarasi food you’d add to this list? 👀

these vessels carry more than just Ganga jal. For the Yaduvanshis of Kashi, offering water to Mahadev is a tradition rooted in generations of faith, devotion, and belonging.

A small ritual, repeated year after year — keeping an old piece of Banaras alive. 🕉️🌿

On the first Monday of Sawan, the ghats of Kashi carry a different kind of devotion.

For generations, the Yaduvanshi community has carried Ganga jal to offer to Mahadev — a simple ritual, but one deeply rooted in the life and faith of Banaras.

No grand words, no show. Just faith, water, and a tradition passed from one generation to the next.
This is the Banaras that lives beyond the postcards. 🕉️🌿

There is a moment right before the rain hits Varanasi when the whole city holds its breath.
The air turns heavy with the scent of wet earth and old stone. The chai stalls along the ghats start buzzing a little louder, milk steaming, ginger crushing, everyone gathering under blue tarps to watch the sky turn a deep, bruised indigo over the Ganga. And then—the sky opens up.
Monsoon in Banaras isn't just a change in the weather; it’s a feeling. It’s watching the river rise to meet the ancient steps, sharing an umbrella with a stranger, and listening to the patter of rain echo off centuries-old alleyways while holding a kulhad of cutting chai.
The rains have arrived in Varanasi, and the city has never looked more alive.
Come splash through the lanes, watch the misty evening Aarti, and fall in love with Banaras all over again.

Some relationships are beyond words.
A Guru doesn’t just teach; they quietly shape the way we see the world. In Kashi, where every step carries centuries of wisdom, Guru Purnima is a reminder to pause, bow with gratitude, and honour those who became the light on our path.

Happy Guru Purnima. 🙏✨

Before Varanasi finds its rhythm, Assi Ghat is already in prayer. As the first rays touch the Ganga, Vedic chants, Surya Arghya, havan, and the sound of conch shells welcome a new day. Unlike the grand evening Aarti, this morning ritual is quieter—less about spectacle, more about beginning the day with gratitude. 🌅🙏
