Itinerary with price for 14 days Annapurna Sanctuary (Annapurna Base Camp) trek)

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu airport, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. The places of visit this day are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: After early-morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the tourist bus station. Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours. This drive will take most of our morning time, leaving much of the afternoon to get a warming glimpse of Pokhara Valley and fall in love with its ethereal beauty.

Pokhara is the tourist's paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, Buddhist and Hindu temples along with the magnificent views of mountains. You can observe the glistening white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) takes approximately one and half hours. Now you begin your trek from Nayapul (1050m.) to Tirkhedhunga (1577 m.) via Birethanti (1065m.) which takes about four and half hours. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m.) takes about six hours. To begin your trek, you could ascend steeply for the early 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, Magar villages. On the way you can view the Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.) and Annapurna (7219m) south. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek from Ghorepani to P**n Hill (3180m.) to Tadapani (2675m.) takes about five and half hours. Early morning trip to P**n Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise from Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2650 m.). Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani (2675m.) to Ghandruk (1950m.) takes about three hours. It is an easy descent all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. You can hear chirping of various birds on the way. This is one of the popular destinations for the birds' lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village. From this village you could see good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2040 m.) takes approximately four hours. At the beginning of the day, you ascend gently for an hour up to Ghandrukkot (2100m.) and descend steeply to the Kimron Khola (1700m.). Chhomrong is a gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary trek and inhabited by Gurung, one of the major ethnic groups of Nepal. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Trek from Chhomrong to Bamboo (2340m.) takes about five hours. Leaving Chhomrong, the trail descends on a stone staircase and crosses the Chhomrong Climbing further on a rocky trail (beware of the stinging nettles) you reach three hotels at Sinuwa, at 2350m check post. You descend a long, steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests. It is then a short distance on a muddy trail to Bamboo Lodge (2340m.). Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali (3230m.) takes about five hours. You trek gently ascend through bamboo forests with varieties of rhododendron and oak trees. The first town you reach is Dovan (2630m.) where there are few lodges and camp sites. Now you pass through muddy trail which traverses high above the river. It takes approximately twenty minutes to reach Deurali (3230m.) Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4170 m.) via Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3820m.) takes about four hours. This is one of the places, where you can enjoy the view of Mount Hiunchuli (6441m.), Annapurna South (7229m.), Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna III (7555m.), Gangapurna (7454m.) and Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.). The path follows through alpine forest. After a short trek, you begin to approach Annapurna Base Camp (4170m.). From here, you can see the panoramic views of several peaks. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2630m.) takes about five hours. Now you trek through Himalayan Hotel to Dovan. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Trek from Dovan to Jhinudanda (1750m.) takes about six hours. The path is descent up to Bamboo passing through forests with varieties of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo plants. After Bamboo, the trail goes steeply up to the Kuldi Ghar and now the trail is quite flat until you reach Sinuwa. You trek gradually descends to the Chhomrong Khola and you have to follow stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Chhomrong. The last part of the trail is steeply down to Jhinudanda. From the town you walk down for 20 minutes to reach Hot Spring at the bank of the Modi Khola. You can unwind yourself at the hot springs. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Trek from Jhinudanda to Pothana (1600m.) takes about five hours. For the first part of the trek is a descent. Here you find beautiful waterfalls. Beyond this town, the trail ascends gently crossing numerous streams and terraces. After short trek, you will be at Landruk (1640m.). Now the trail gently ascends to Tolka (1850m.) and then ascends to Bherikharka. From here, the trail goes steeply up to Deurali (2100m.) with a view of different mountain peaks in panorama. Now, the trail gradually descends to Pothana passing through different oak forests. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 15: Trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi takes approximately three hours and drive from Dhampus Phedi to Pokhara by car. The trail gently descends to Dhampus, a village mainly inhabited by Gurungs. Now you trek through flat land for some distance and steeply descend to Dhampus Phedi. Now you drive from Dhampus Phedi to Pokhara. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city of Kathmandu.

Day 17: Free day in Kathmandu for shopping and recreation. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 18: Transfer to airport for final departure

Itinerary with price for 16 days Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar trip (A complete Indian Pilgrimage tour to Holy Kailash)

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu for the preparation of Kailash trip. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Tibet border (Kodari), continue drive to Nyalam (3750m.) takes about 8 to 9 hours. Stay overnight at hotel in Nyalam.

Day 04: Drive from Nyalam to Pelku-Tso to Saga, takes about 8 hours. Today's drive involves crossing of two high passes and passes by a lake called Pelkutso where you will be served packed lunch. Lablung La (5030m.) offers spectacular views of Mt. Shishapangma (8021m.), Gauri Shanker and many other peaks, all of which are dwarfed by the Tibetan plateau. You will cross the Bramhaputra River just before Saga. Stay overnight at camp/lodge in Saga

Day 05: Drive from Saga-Zhongba-Paryang (4540m, 255km, 8 hrs). It is at Saga where the road will connect with the main road from Lhasa. You continue on across the vast dry plains to the small Tibetan town-Zhongba and from here further to Paryang for overnight stay at camp/lodge.

Day 06: Drive from Paryang to Lake Manasarovar takes 8 hrs. Today's drive involves crossing of several rivers but has some of the most panoramic scenery. Today, the crew will set your camp by the sacred Manasarovar Lake-which according to Hindu mythology was formed in the mind of Brahma-the creator of the world. Today, you will have the first view of holy Mt. Kailash from Horqu. Stay overnight in a camp.

Day 07: Rest at Lake Manasarovar. Today, you will rest at Manasarovar Lake for holy dip, puja and other ritual performance. You can take leisure walk or excursion along the lakeside. Stay overnight in a camp.

Lake Manasarovar is the most venerated of the Tibet's lakes. According to Hindu mythology, it was formed in the mind of Brahma-the creator of the world for his sons to bathe. Indian pilgrims take a dip in the holy water purge their sins and also would like to fill up the bottle with holy water to bring back home. Not many people are interested in taking the Kora of Lake Manasarovar as it's a tough 4 days trekking requiring well supplied supporting team but you will cover some portion of road by jeep/bus.

Day 08: Early morning you will drive to Manasarovar Parikrama by Jeep/bus. If time permits, visit Chui Gompa. In the afternoon you will drive to Darchen (4560m.). Stay overnight at guest House in Darchen.

Day 09: Drive for approximately 8 kilometers from Darchen Tarboche, the trek starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Trek to Dira Puk (4775m.) 12 kilometers which takes about 6 to 7 hours. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 10: Continue drive to Parikrama over Dolma La Pass (5650m.) to Zuthul Puk (4700m.) 22 kilometers which takes about 10 to 11 hrs. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 11: The Kailash Kora ends today after an easy trek of about 14 kilometers. You will then proceed to Hor Qu (4560m) at Lake Manasarovar. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 12: Drive from Darchen to Paryang (4540m.). The road is rough and there are some rivers to cross. Wild antelope and kiang (the Tibetan wild ass) are a common sight. This is the land of the Drogpa nomads and you will pass many encampments with large herds of sheep and goats. The drives are long, bumpy and often dusty but the scenery is magnificent. Photo stops are a must! Stay overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 13: Drive from Paryang to Saga. It is another long day drive, 255 km to Saga passing through the small, dusty town of Zhongba en route. Stay overnight at camp/lodge.

Day 14: Drive from Saga to Nyalam (3800m.) via Paigutso. Leaving Saga, you will cross the Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra River) by ferry and continue our journey for 110km across the vast open plains. Stunning Himalayan views, particularly of Shishapangma, accompany us as you head towards a huge lake, the Paigutso. You will continue driving south towards the Nepalese border, joining the Friendship Highway. You cross a high pass, the Lalung La (5200m.) and come to the small town of Nyalam. Stay overnight at hotel in Nyalam.

Day 15: Drive from Nyalam to Kathmandu. From Nyalam, you drive down to the border town of Zhangmu. From Zhangmu, it’s a short drive to the Friendship Bridge which spans the Bhote Kosi River and marks the Chinese - Nepalese border where you part with your Tibetan guide and driver and walk to Nepalese Immigration Control in Kodari where you will be met by your Nepalese staff. After completing the re-entry formalities you continue the drive to Kathmandu that takes about 5-6 hours. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 16: Transfer to airport or bus station for your onward journey.
