Sorry that it has been so quite around here. We have been super busy filming, eating, meeting people, walking around Hawler and of course eating some more.

It looks like people are interested in history and food. This is great because Kurdistan is rich in both! We received word that we will be given permission to film in the Erbil Citadel. First inhabited around 5,000BC, the Citadel is currently under reconstruction to preserve this amazing historical location.

While we love adventure, the folks here at K.A.T. are about much more than just paragliding, hiking and white water rafting! We love Kurdistan and the Kurdish people.

It was an honor to speak at the Justice Film Circle last night. A number of people from last night have donated outdoor gear for me to take to Kurdistan next week. We will then give that gear to a dear friend that plans weekly outings to those living in Kurdistan.

Having the right bag/luggage can make or break a trip. I personally prefer to travel light. That's why I picked up the Osprey Farpoint 55 before my last trip to Kurdistan.
