We travelled to the ancient city of Babylon, one of the greatest cities of the ancient world, followed by a visit to Saddam Hussein’s Palace in Babylon, where ancient history meets Iraq’s more recent history.

Another unforgettable journey has come to an end. 🇮🇶🇨🇿

It was an absolute pleasure to guide two wonderful travelers from the Czech Republic, accompanied by an archaeologist, on a 12-day expedition across Iraq.

Together, we explored the country’s extraordinary history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes—from the ancient cities of southern Iraq and the lively streets of Baghdad to the majestic mountains of Iraqi Kurdistan. We cruised through the Mesopotamian Marshes, hiked scenic trails, and discovered the unique heritage of Mosul.

Thank you for your trust and for sharing this incredible adventure with me. It was an honor to showcase the beauty, hospitality, and rich civilization of Iraq.

A Special Tour with an Australian YouTuber

I had the honor of guiding a well-known Australian YouTuber, a person with special needs and a dedicated ambassador for inclusive travel. Despite using a wheelchair and a medical bed, she travels the world and shares her experiences to inspire others.

Over the course of six memorable days, we explored some of Iraq’s most important historical and cultural destinations, including Babylon, Samarra, Mosul, Erbil, and Lalish. The journey was filled with discovery, meaningful human connections, and unforgettable moments.

This experience beautifully reflected the true image of Iraq—a land of ancient civilization, diversity, and warm hospitality—and proved that travel has no limits when there is determination and proper support.

بُحت أصواتنا طوال الصيف ونحن نطالب بالترميم والاستعداد، لنتفاجأ اليوم —وفي ذروة الموسم السياحي الشتوي حيث الأجواء المثالية— بإغلاق المعالم التي هي هوية العراق أمام السياح والباحثين والمواطنين:
• المتحف العراقي: ذاكرة بلاد الرافدين.. لماذا أبوابه موصدة؟
• المدرسة المستنصرية والقصر العباسي: درة العمارة العباسية، هل يُعقل أن تُهمل بهذا الشكل؟
• نصب الشهيد: الرمز الوجداني للعراقيين، لماذا يغيب عن خارطة الزيارة؟
• طاق كسرى: أعظم طاق في العالم، يصارع الإهمال والإغلاق المزمن.
🛑 رسالة إلى وزارة السياحة والآثار والثقافة
الاسم يبدأ بـ "السياحة والآثار" قبل الثقافة، لكن الواقع يقول إن الإدارة في وادٍ والتنفيذ في وادٍ آخر. إن إغلاق هذه المعالم في موسم السياحة ليس مجرد خلل فني، بل هو سوء إدارة علني وضربة للاقتصاد الوطني ولسمعة العراق الدولية.
السياحة ليست "سيلفي" في مطعم، السياحة هي أن تمشي في أروقة المستنصرية وتستنشق عطر التاريخ في القصر العباسي. كفى تخبطاً، بغداد تستحق إدارة تدرك قيمة ما تملك من كنوز

An exceptional two-day tour with Dr. Faisal from Kuwait, an academic researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, who has worked on a specialized project focused on Ottoman history and the collection of historical books and sources.
The tour was conducted alongside archaeologist Karrar, featuring expert guidance through key Ottoman-era sites, as well as in-depth exploration of Samarra and Mosul, two cities of profound historical and cultural significance.
