Eyjafjarðarsveitin hefur fóstrað sumar af merkilegustu konum Íslandssögunar. Langar þig að vita meira um þær?
Sunnudaginn 28/6 kl 1300 verður lagt af stað frá Hofi og farinn sunnudagsbíltúr og saga þessara kvenna sögð og litið á sögustaðina. Í lok ferðar verður farið á Hælið og sú sýning skoðuð.
Farið verður á lítilli rútu og ferðin tekur ca 4 tíma. Það sem er innifalið er akstur, leiðsögn og safnið. Verð er 7900kr á hvern farþega. Eldriborgarar og öryrkjar fá afslátt. Taste of Eyjafjörður
From the time of the Icelandic settlement, Eyjafjörður has fostered some of the most interesting people in its history, and the fate of the Icelandic nation is heavily attributed to the area.
On this trip, we’ll explore some of the key sites in Eyjafjörður’s history. We’ll tell you their stories; amongst which will be tales of elves, trolls and ghosts. You’ll also learn about the pagan festivals that used to be customary in the area, and you’ll have the chance to taste the food and drink typical of those historic times.

Operated: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Departure from: Akureyri
Meeting point: Hotel or guesthouse pick-up in the Akureyri area
Departure: 11:00. Pick-up is 15 min before departure. Duration: 4 hours.
Included: Fully guided tour, transportation and refreshments
Note: Reservation is necessary; no later than 17.00 the day before.
