The Icelandic goat is an ancient breed dating back to the settlement of Iceland. It has been on the verge of extinction, but fortunately farms like Háafell have been working hard towards preserving the goat stock in Iceland. You can visit Háafell Goat Farm daily from 11:00 to 18:00 to meet with this cute people-friendly animal and learn more about it. Goat-related products are available in the local store.
