They are equipped with GPS satellite and VHF radio communication devices, along with other security facilities. The jeeps have also been modified and adapted for special driving conditions including reinforced suspensions and steering equipment, raised chassis, giant tires and more. Kristján G. Kristjánsson og Björk Jónasdóttir hafa rekið jeppaferðaþjónustufyrirtækið Mountain Taxi frá árinu 1995.
Þau riðu á vaðið um daginn og undirrituðu fyrsta samninginn um kaup á Ísar bifreið, 6 dyra búin öllu því besta, eins og upphituðum, stillanlegum lúxus sætum fyrir alla 10 farþega.
Kristján hefur verið virkur í þróun Ísar frá upphafi og hlökkum við mjög til þessa nýja kafla í samstarfi okkar.
