The Summer Treasure Glacier Discovery is our longest summer day tour: 5–6 hours, a super-jeep drive onto Vatnajökull, a glacier hike with crampons and harness, and the option to add ice climbing.

You start and end at Jökulsárlón (Glacier Lagoon). 24,900 ISK per person. Small private groups only.

Spots for June are limited. Book directly at blueiceland.is.

Summer on Vatnajökull does not look like the postcards, and that is the point. The ice is bare, blue and cracked open, and the only sound up there is your own crampons.

Our glacier walks are running now: a super-jeep ride to the ice, gear fitted at the edge, then a few hours on Iceland's largest glacier with a guide who has roots in the area. Small groups, no coaches.
