We have been organizing different highland riding tours since 2010. We come to Iceland various times per year in all seasons and are very interested in introducing our guests to local events like riding on ice in the winter, festivities like Þorrablót and traditions like sheep and horse round ups. We highly value the quality of horses at Saltvík and the way Bjarni and Elsa welcome their guests int

Jen first came to Iceland in 2002 as a guest on a highland riding tour on Kjölur. She has been coming back to ride every year since then and met Bjarni Páll on a special tour in 2007. Since then, they have been collaborating on riding tours as well as other projects between art and design in Iceland. Jen is a designer with a passion for icelandic horses.

We have just added a brand new tour to our 2023 program!
We'll be spending the days riding and knitting (icelandic sweaters) during this tour. And of course we hopefully will see some northern lights in the evenings as well.
