5 months old hitting the ice for the first time, on one of our craters in Iceland
Since our children were born we have been lucky with ice & been able to turn it into a tradition to play Christmas hockey on the craters every year! This was Ylfa Steinunn first time putting on the skates.

Þriðja barnið okkar fékk nafnið sitt síðasta haust! Og eins og með fyrri tvö, þá gerðum við nafnavideó þar sem við þjóðstörtum ævintýralífi barnsins saman sem fjölskylda og sýnum einn staf í hverju ævintýri, sem að lokum sýnir fullt nafn barnsins! Markmiðið var að fanga fyrstu augnablikin hjá barninu okkar í þeim framtíðar ævintýrum sem við stundum saman sem fjölskylda! Og einnig að fanga þann stað sem eldri börnin okkar eru komin á.
Hin börnin okkar tvö fæddust um vetur og fengu því videó sem sýndu meira frá vetrarsamverunni okkar!
Þriðja barnið okkar, litla stelpan okkar fæddist 10. Júlí 2025 og er þannig fyrsta sumarbarnið okkar og er því mun meira sumar-vibe í þessu videói en hinum tveim!
Fyrir okkur er líka gaman að sjá munin á milli videóanna, í því fyrsta vorum við bara 2 með 1 barn og allt frekar auðvelt og svo í því síðasta erum við orðin 5 og þurfum þar af leiðandi að huga að mun flr. Þáttum til þess að allt gangi upp í hverju ævintýri 😅
Í þessu videói þá einblíndum við meira á að fanga samtölin og samveruna hjá 5 manna fjölskyldu.

In Iceland the tradition is to name children when they are around 3 months old. In this video we are sharing the name of our 3rd child, one letter at a time & also capturing her first steps in the adventures that we like to do as a family of 5. Same adventures that I was raised up doing with my parents.
For us it is so much joy to see how our children are thriving, enjoying & growing in the life that we have laid before them!

We decided with a 2 day notice to get married on our mountain with an amazing view & weather! This date was also perfect as it markes, 20 years together ❤️❤️

Celebrated my 37th birthday this week! I had a really fun day with the family & as it is getting closer to the summer then I gave my children their own work jackets so the can wear the same as I when they are working with me!❤️
