Dear hikers and adventurers,

Due to an event and Icelandic holiday called Menningarnótt next Saturday the 23rd of August, the whole of downtown Reykjavik is closed and both buses and cars are prohibited from entering the area. Therefore, we had to change the first pick up point in Reykjavík from City Hall to Hringbraut 29, bus stop in front of the Student Hostel for both departures at 07:30 and 12:30.

Those travelling back to Reykjavík from Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk on both Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd will also be dropped off at Hringbraut 29 for both departures 14:30 and 18:00.

Attention: The travelers going to and from The Reykjavik campsite in Laugardalur do not need to worry about this change.

Due to Gay Pride tomorrow, the 9th of August, the whole of downtown Reykjavik is closed and both buses and cars are prohibited from entering the area. Therefore, we had to change the first pick up point in Reykjavík from City Hall to Hringbraut 29, bus stop in front of the Student Hostel for the 12:30 departure, BUS 2.

Attention: The travelers going to and from The Reykjavik campsite in Laugardalur do not need to worry about this change.

Due to road closures on the 10th of August 2024, our highland bus departure at 12:30 will be moved to Hringbraut 29, 101 Reykjavik.

Dear hikers and adventurers,
next Saturday, August the 19th, our first pick up point in Reykjavik will be from Hringbraut 29, Reykjavík and NOT from the City Hall.
Due to an event and holiday called Menningarnótt, the whole of downtown Reykjavik is closed and both busses and cars that day are prohibited from entering the area. Therefore we had to change the first pick up point.
We are looking forward to see you all at Hringbraut 29, Reykjavík 19.08.
