Dear hikers and adventurers,

Due to the Icelandic Culture Night, or Menningarnótt 🎆, next Saturday the 22nd of August, the whole of downtown Reykjavik is closed and both buses and cars are prohibited from entering the area 🚧

This effects those that have booked transportation with our daily scheduled highland busses to/from Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk.

Therefore, we had to change the first pick up point in Reykjavík from City Hall to BSÍ bus terminal (Vatnsmýrarvegur 10, 101 Reykjavík) for both departures at 07:30 and 12:30.

Those travelling back to Reykjavík from Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk will also be dropped off at BSÍ bus terminal (Vatnsmýrarvegur 10, 101 Reykjavík) for both departures 14:30 and 18:00.

Attention❗️ Travellers going to and from the Reykjavik campsite in Laugardalur do not need to worry about this change.

🌿 There's still time to experience the magic of Þórsmörk! 🌿

The hiking season at Trex is coming to an end, and our last scheduled Þórsmörk bus will operate on September 6th.

Don't miss the chance to visit one of Iceland's most beautiful valleys, famous for its lush green landscapes, stunning hiking trails, and breathtaking nature.

For the remainder of the season, tickets between Þórsmörk and Hella or Hvolsvöllur are only 8,000 ISK.

Dear hikers,

Due to the celebration of Pride this weekend, the whole of downtown Reykjavík is closed from 12:00 7th of August until 18:00 8th of August and both buses and cars are prohibited from entering the area.

Hikers travelling from Reykjavík to both Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk on Friday the 7th at 12:30 and Saturday the 8th will depart from Hringbraut 29 for both departures at 07:30 and 12:30.

Hikers travelling back to Reykjavík from Landmannalaugar and
Þórsmörk on Friday the 7th at 14:30 and 18:00 will be dropped off at Hringbraut 29 for both departures.

Attention: The travelers going to and from The Reykjavik campsite in Laugardalur do not need to worry about this change.

Due to an event and Icelandic holiday called Menningarnótt next Saturday the 23rd of August, the whole of downtown Reykjavik is closed and both buses and cars are prohibited from entering the area. Therefore, we had to change the first pick up point in Reykjavík from City Hall to Hringbraut 29, bus stop in front of the Student Hostel for both departures at 07:30 and 12:30.

Those travelling back to Reykjavík from Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk on both Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd will also be dropped off at Hringbraut 29 for both departures 14:30 and 18:00.

Attention: The travelers going to and from The Reykjavik campsite in Laugardalur do not need to worry about this change.

Therefore, we had to change the first pick up point in Reykjavík from City Hall to Hringbraut 29, bus stop in front of the Student Hostel for the 12:30 departure, BUS 2.
