Tomorrow- 05.08- You can be surprised that Your favourite shop is closed even though it was open 7 days a week. The reason is Verslunarmannahelgin, the traders weekend. The first monday of August every year is called Frídagur Verslunarmanna, the traders festival. During the Verslunarmannahelgin a massive fete called Þjóðhátið takes place in Heimaey- the biggest island of Vestmannaeyjar archipelago.
