Who doesn’t love a local flea market?? It’s the largest and oldest flea market in Iceland. Right next to the harbor where the ships used to come to trade goods. Not every vendor is a hit but most are really unique and it’s a great way to meet locals and hear their stories!

I can’t believe there was a pizza festival too! Devine timing ❤️🍕

My parents and I became actual FRIENDS on this trip. Turns out we just needed some quality time and less exploration together. We enjoyed some much needed time together at 💛

Outsourcing the plans made it easier to be present and hang out together without anyone being “in charge”

Travel with your parents, officially my new life recommendation. And ask them questions. They have a whole life of stories from before you came around. The time together is something you’ll all cherish for the rest of your life 🫶🏽🤗

My parents are gonna be so mad about this one hahahah they just want me to be happy and healthy and live my life for me. Gosh they really are just the best. No pressure to do anything specific but always my #1 supporters. And they love to come visit me in Iceland and visit the spas, usually their #1 request.

Ever since næs opened it immediately became my favorite restaurant in Iceland. I try to go once a year since it is on an island but it blows me away every time 🤤

I’ve brought almost everyone in my family to dine here and everyone always leaves with a picture with the chef because it’s THAT memorable. Unreasonable hospitality from Gísli Matthías Auðunsson and the food is literally heavenly.

The entire atmosphere of the place made this night one we will talk about for the rest of our lives. That sounds so dramatic but it’s true.

Thank you Gísli Matthías Auðunsson don’t stop. Keep doing what you do! The world needs more of you! And Happy Birthday to my Mom and Dad. Thanks for letting me show you around Icey (again)
