Truly our favorite weekend this “spring” in Iceland at watching whales breach from the house was just an incredible experience! It wasn’t dark when we stayed but I just KNOW this would be a great place for northern lights in the winter months.

I was the most type b bride 😂 stress about details the week before a massive life event? Nah. Let’s take a trip around Iceland instead 🇮🇸 if that ain’t procrastination at its finest 😅

I was looking for something a little more tropical but this will do 🤿 snorkeling between tectonic plates in Iceland, I was nervous I’d be cold but the views are absolutely mind blowing, didn’t even notice the water was 2°c 🥶

What to know: the water IS cold but you hardly feel it on your body! You’re given a thermal suit and a dry suit so your body doesn’t get wet. Your face and hands do get wet but truly the views will make you forget it cold at all. Definitely one of the most unique experiences you can have in Iceland.

This tour meets at Thingvellir National Park, less than 1 hour from Reykjavik. Tour operator is and they provide all the gear you need!
