3rd of April - One of the last nights of the northern lights season for us here at Aurora Experts and Ultimate Iceland and it was a magical one with strong solar wind and prime conditions out there 🇮🇸

March 13th started as a challenging night—the cloud cover forecast was off, and conditions looked grim.
But years of chasing auroras teach you not to trust forecasts alone.

We pulled up real-time satellite imagery, identified a clear sky window, and drove straight into it.

What happened next? Fast solar wind from a coronal hole lit up the sky above us for the rest of the evening.
Guests stood in awe. Some in tears. This is what we chase.
