Greenland.

September 24 — October 7.

We head back into Scoresbysund and the Northeast Greenland National Park for two weeks onboard with a small group of people, good food, an open bar, and nowhere else to be.

Out there, the scale stops making sense very quickly.
Icebergs drift past the ship in complete silence. Mountains rise straight out of the. Entire fjords sit empty for months and years at a time.

It feels remote in a way that is getting increasingly difficult to find anymore.

Days are spent exploring by zodiac, walking ashore where almost nobody ever goes, watching the light change over the ice, having another drink, and accidentally losing track of what day it is altogether.

Beer onboard.
Spirits onboard too.
One comes in bottles. The other may still haunt the fjords.

Only two spots remain.
We sail in 130 days.

🇦🇶 Antarctica 🇦🇶

We’re finally doing it. ⛵️ - You are whalecum 🐋 Oops. Typo.

On February 6th 2028, we head south for our first ever expedition to the 7th continent aboard a small schooner with red sails that genuinely looks too dramatic to be real. It is real though.

And somehow — before we’ve even properly announced this trip — 12 of the 20 guest spots are already gone.

Which honestly says more than any marketing caption ever could. Boomshackalaka!

We’ll be flying directly from Punta Arenas in Chile into Antarctica itself before boarding the vessel, avoiding the whole “violently bonding with a bucket while crossing the Drake Passage” experience.

Then we spend 10 days doing what we do best:

⛵️ Exploring slowly.
🥘 Eating good food. Subject to taste, we guess. Don’t be a brat.
💃🏼 Spending time with genuinely good people. Verified.
🥃 A few drinks here and there.
That’s a lie. Lots of drinks, yes.
🧊 Icebergs the size of differently sized cathedrals.
🐧 Watching penguins looking for stones.
🐳 Seeing whales if they decide to show up for mating season.
🗻 And landscapes that look photoshopped even when you’re standing in them.

What this really comes down to is a very small group of likeminded people experiencing Antarctica together properly.

No rush.
No conveyor belt tourism.
No pretending this is normal. Because it’s not.
It’s a privilege.

And honestly, the fact that this trip already is more than half-full nearly two years before departure tells us we’re probably not the only ones craving something a little more real these days.

Applications are now open for the general public.
Full information can be found through the link in our profile.

We do not do first come, first serve.

You choose your travels carefully. We do the same when putting our groups together.

If this had been in the brochure, nobody would have believed it. 👀

People sometimes imagine Arctic expeditions as this ultra serious affair.

Everyone whispering in Gore-Tex while holding binoculars and pretending not to fart.

And yes — there are moments like that, too.

But then there’s this…

Final night of the trip.
Captain’s dinner demolished.
A few drinks deep.
Midnight light over Barentsburg.
And an entire hot tub full of adults spinning in circles to You Spin Me Round while yelling the lyrics into the Arctic night.

That’s the Laid-Back experience.

Just genuinely fun people having the time of their lives very far north of normal.

And yes — the hot tub was one of the best upgrades we’ve ever had. 🍻
