Golden Circle Day Tour 💫

📍 Stop #4 – Brú Horsefarm 🐴

One of the special stops on our tour is a visit to Brú Horsefarm, where you can meet one of Iceland’s most beloved residents – the Icelandic horse.

Small in size but known for their incredible strength, endurance and unique character, Icelandic horses have been an important part of life in Iceland for centuries.

At the farm, you’ll have the chance to get up close, pet the horses, take photos and even feed them special Icelandic Horse Candy, included in the tour.

No horseback riding – just a relaxed and authentic opportunity to meet these beautiful animals and experience a little piece of Icelandic culture.

Golden Circle Day Tour 💫

📍 Stop #3 – Gullfoss Waterfall

Our third stop on the tour is one of Iceland’s most spectacular natural wonders – the majestic Gullfoss waterfall.

Gullfoss, meaning “Golden Waterfall,” is formed by powerful cascades of glacial water plunging with incredible force into a deep canyon, creating a truly spectacular and unforgettable sight.

Standing close to the waterfall, you can feel the sheer power of the rushing water and hear its thunderous roar, while the surrounding landscape once again reveals the raw and extraordinary beauty of Iceland.

Golden Circle Day Tour 💫

📍Stop #2 – Geysir Geothermal Area & Strokkur

Our second stop on the Golden Circle tour takes us to the incredible geothermal area, where the earth literally bubbles and shoots hot water into the air.

The main attraction here is Strokkur – one of Iceland’s most active geysers. Every few minutes, a powerful fountain of hot water erupts high into the air, creating a spectacular show.

Around the area, you’ll also find bubbling hot springs, steaming fumaroles and the intense colors that make Iceland’s landscapes so unique.

The season of our tours in Seyðisfjörður has come to an end!

Thank you to everyone who travelled with us around East Iceland. !

🫠We’re saying goodbye to the puffins and reindeer for now, but next summer we’ll be visiting them again.

Meanwhile, the puffins are leaving Iceland’s cliffs. At the end of the season, young puffins leaving their nests for the first time can sometimes lose their way and fly towards the lights instead of the sea.

🫡In Iceland, the Puffling Patrol is a special tradition where entire families help find lost pufflings and release them safely by the sea the next day.

See you again, Seyðisfjörður! 🧡

Golden Circle Day Tour 💫

📍 Stop #1 – Kerið Crater

We begin our Golden Circle tour at the spectacular Kerið Crater.

🌋 Formed thousands of years ago during a volcanic eruption, the crater was created when the volcano’s cone collapsed after its magma chamber emptied. Over time, water filled the crater, creating the beautiful lake we see today.

At this time of year, the red volcanic earth creates a beautiful contrast with the bright green grass, making the landscape especially striking.

And this is just the beginning of our full-day adventure! Next up are Geysir, Gullfoss and Þingvellir ✨

The Midnight Sun season is coming to an end 🌙

Over the summer, nights in Iceland have been almost as bright as day. The sun only dipped below the horizon for a short time, and even in the middle of the night, the sky remained light.

Now the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting darker. That means Northern Lights season is just around the corner. 💚

The Midnight Sun is giving way to the Northern Lights.

☀️ Akureyri: Lake Mývatn, Goðafoss & Lava Fields Tour

📍 Stop #5 – Hverir, Geothermal Area

Hverir is one of Iceland’s most active geothermal areas. High temperatures beneath the surface create vents releasing hot steam and gases, as well as bubbling mud pots.

The distinctive yellow and orange colours come from sulphur and other mineral deposits. The area is filled with the strong smell of sulphur, while the barren landscape reveals the powerful volcanic activity beneath Iceland’s surface.
