This summer we are launching The Icelandic Sky - hot air balloon series limited to six passengers per flight. Ninety minutes drifting above the South Iceland landscape. Departures from Selfoss. Complimentary pickup from Reykjavík available.

This summer, Varen Iceland presents a limited hot air balloon experience over the stunning landscapes of Selfoss. Drift peacefully above volcanic fields, rivers, and valleys with no noise—just pure Icelandic nature. Operating from July 1 to August 15 with three daily departures, each flight offers an intimate experience with a maximum of six guests and includes a champagne toast.

Choose a shared flight or a private basket for your group, with optional transfers from Reykjavik. This exclusive 3-hour experience is weather-dependent and comes with a full refund guarantee if conditions are not suitable.
