It was a early February morning two years ago when we walked down to the beach in the south east, the sun was just getting up, mellow winter chill in the air and a very light offshore breeze gracing our uncovers faces and the half frozen landscape surrounding us.
We had been there the evening before, when the waves were more mellow and manageable, pretty clean and perfect, small-ish fun conditions but the light was fading fast with only 30min of light left that day when we pooled up. It was time to find our accommodation for the night and get some well deserved rest.
The next day on the morning this photo was taken we were all exited to surf some pumping waves and it was pumping but challenging and with a bit of currents, so reading the water correctly and having cardio to burn was a necessary tool for the day… a fun but challenging session.
This was day 5 of our 8 days in our travels together and we had been pushing hard like we always do, keeping active every day, seeing the sights as we passed through, eating good food, meeting interesting and fun locals, blasting and 🇫🇷 music to keep us pumped and motivated. Sounds easy enough but each day we were covering lots of ground, if you want the good stuff you always have to work for it. Driven by our passion, curiosity for what each day can bring and the love for surfing we pushed hard like we always do, that is the style and the way we roll.
