We are pleased to announce that Fish Partner has taken over the fishing beats previously operated by ION as part of our new cooperation agreement. This means that anglers who have enjoyed fishing these areas in the past can now continue to access them through Fish Partner, alongside our existing Lake Þingvallavatn offerings.

We look forward to welcoming both returning and new anglers to these iconic waters and ensuring a smooth continuation of fishing on the beats.

The 2020 fishing season was good, even though most of our foreign guests could not make it because of the Corona virus. We hope everyone can travel next spring and we are dreaming of next summer already. The trout can be seen in great numbers at the spawning grounds these days and many have gone to The river Öxará which is their main spawning ground to watch this unbelievable show by nature.
