Iceland ranked #1 again.

For the 19th year in a row, Iceland has been named the most peaceful country in the world in the Global Peace Index.

It is one of the reasons Iceland feels so safe, calm and welcoming for travelers. From Reykjavík to the countryside, visitors often notice the relaxed atmosphere very quickly.

Still, Icelandic nature deserves respect. Weather, roads, waves and glaciers can change plans fast, so smart travel is always part of a great Iceland trip.
